The new season matches will be starting in 2022 that is in January and February 2022. The tournament will be having 17 matches played by all the teams. These matches will be taking place at stadiums in Lahore and Karachi.

The finals will be taking place at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The format for the matches will be in the Double round-robin format and the playoffs.

It is a twenty20 format of the game where the match will be played in the Super League.

Islamabad United is one of the teams taking part in the PSL. The other one is the Karachi Kings which has won the competition just for once in PSL that is in 2020. The stadium for the club is the National Stadium.

Another franchise of the PSL is the Lahore Qalandars. the team is not on a great scale as they haven’t yet won any of the matches yet. Multan Sultan is the current defending champion of the league. They have just won the single-season that is in 2022.

Another team that is a part of the league is the Peshawar Zalmi they are the winners of the league for the 2017 season. Lastly, the final team of the league is the Quetta Gladiators is the team again with a single win in the tournament that is in 2019.
