The applications are now open to
apply for the EHSAAS Undergraduate Scholarship 2022. The EHSAAS Scholarships
2022 is purely based on high achievers from low-income families. The students
will be able to submit the online application form for scholarship application
through HEC portal. The exact date of the start of registration has been
announced by HEC and Ehsaas Program. The HEC has launched the Ehsaas
Undergraduate Scholarship Batch-III for deserving and low-profile students.
The new Academic session 2021-22 is open for Ehsaas scholarship for
undergraduate students. The deadline for the submission of the application is 31st
December 2021.

The Special Assistant to Prime
Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Security Dr. Sania Nishtar has
announced that the last date to apply for the Ehsaas Undergraduate Program
2021-2022 has been extended till 31 December 2021. The decision has been made
to enable the maximum number of deserving students to apply for the Ehsaas
Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2021-2022.
“Given the delays in admission
process at several public sector universities in the country, we have extended
the last date for Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship applications till Dec 31,
2021.” said the Special Assistant on Twitter.
What is Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program?
The Ehsaas Undergraduate
Scholarship Program was launched by Prime Minister Imran Khan under the banner
of the Ehsaas Program to provide deserving students with the opportunity to get
an undergraduate education. Under the initiative, there will be over 50,000
scholarships provided to students from low-income households for 4-5 year
undergraduate degree programs.
The Ehsaas Undergraduate
Scholarship Program will provide over 200,000 scholarships over four years on a need and merit basis. It is pertinent to mention that the program
will provide 50% of the scholarships to girls and 2% scholarships to differently-abled
students while boys will get 48% scholarships under the program.
It is Pakistan’s largest
undergraduate scholarship program in 2022. The EHSAAS Scholarship is a major
initiative to enhance access to higher education. The Government wishes to
ensure that no student is deprived of education because of financial need.
The 50% Scholarships are reserved
for female students. The students with special needs as well as those from
remote and disadvantaged areas are especially encouraged to apply.

Deserving students from

applicant is required to take printout of the application form and attach
